Google takes on Germany over privacy concerns, shut down German Gmail? June 24, 2007
Category : Net News, SEO News for Mobile , trackbackIn a new twist that Google actually seems to care about people privacy, they have threatened to close Gmail Germany, in response to a new German Law stating that any connection data concerning the internet, phone calls SMS etc. of any german citizen will be saved for 6 months, Proxy services like Tor will be made illegal.
Well done Google, this law is a digsrace, one wonders with all the regulation in Europe how the Germans can get away with this crazy law, come to think of it, have'ntthe British not been up to this for years?Tags: Google, Privacy, Germany
