European Consumer are not happy with the Googles Doubleclick deal July 3, 2007

BEUC, backed by consumers in several major European countries, has petitioned the competition commissioner Neelie Kroes to investigate the deal.

The US federal trade commission is already investigating on similar grounds.

Doubleclick is a major provider or banner advertising and web surfer tracking, added to Googles user search database, it would will extend further Google reach into the realm of customer tracking and privacy.
