Intel Capital investments is investing $218.5 million dollars in virtualization company VMWare. Intel will purchase 9.5 million Class A shares at $23 per share, which amounts to about 2.5 percent stake in the VMware.

WMWare is a polular Windows virtualization provider to allow users to run instances of Windows on their Linux or Mac OS X systems
