In a follow up update to a previous story EBay trows a hissey fit and pulls adwords Google have decided to cancel their party to promote their competing payment product on the same night as eBays annual party.

An eBay source Mr. Durzy said, “We are pleased that they apparently have seen that the party was inappropriate, It is not the way one partner should act with another.”

EBay had pulled all adWords Google advertising to the tune of 25+ million dollars a quarter. They have not as yet renewed their advertising with Google hence the (kind of) in the title.
