Google  buys Feedburner, the news feed service for a reported $100m dollars

Chicago-based Feedburner helps bloggers, podcasters and news providers to distribute their content widely through what are commonly known as RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds. It also provides analytical tools that show publishers what audience they are reaching.

This begs the question whether RSS feed advertising is on the horizon

The study involved Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and Ask and also found that among 12,570 random user-defined queries just over 1 percent of first page search results were the same across the engines.
